Pumpkins are everywhere in October! It’s no different at Chatterboxes.
What a wonderful natural way to explore Autumn.
Look at our beautiful selection, all different sizes and textures.
Learning about weight and size. All the children had a go lifting the big and middle-sized pumpkin. It was much easier lifting the middle sized one.
We made some delicious soup with the big pumpkin, children loved scooping and chopping.
We decorated the middle size pumpkin together, gluing some wax crayons onto the pumpkin then melting them with hairdryers. See the video on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/ChatterboxesB13/videos/1370250223587015 Once it had cooled down the children added leaves and conkers to the pumpkin.
The little pumpkins were decorated individually, and the children got to take one home in their curiosity Autumn bag.
